The place to get information about the history of Narita city and the largest Tourist information center using new media. First of all, go up to the third floor by elevator. As its door opens, one will hear the sound of the Kabuki wooden clappers and experience travelling back in time to the Edo period. Inside the hall are presented the temples and shrines as they were during the Edo Period together with the two wooden festival floats which are paraded in the Gion festival, and other vehicles of past times.
Ask anything about Narita at the information counter on the first floor.

Tea ceremony

The tea ceremony is designed to introduce a part of Japanese culture to overseas visitors. ( Thursdays from 10:30- / No charge) On the second floor of the Narita Tourist pavilion, experience the tea ceremony while sitting on a red carpet (Mosen), listening to Koto music being played in the background. and having tea and sweets. A simultaneous English interpretation is provided. After the ceremony, visitors are invited to try on Kimono. (Reservation required)
