Transportation
Narita city is a traffic-hub of north-eastern Chiba pref. Public railways and bus routes have been well developed. A commutation ticket is beneficial if you take the transportation frequently. A book of coupon for bus routes which allows you to ride eleven (11) times with the price of ten (10) is also available.
1. Railway System
For Tokyo, Chiba, Funabashi and Narita International Airport, it is convenient to take the JR (Japan Railway) line or the Keisei line.
2. Bus Route
Buses for Narita Newtown and for various places in downtown Narita are available at the JR and Keisei's east and west station exit. Also, the bus routes have been extended to suburban areas of Narita city.
3. Driver's License
If you need a driver's license in Japan, you may have to go to a driving
school. If you are a license holder in your home country, (some
countries are excluded) you can obtain a license in Japan by carrying
out the necessary procedures at a license service center.
